Some of our clients point out that the IT industry in Australiaseems to have entered something of the doldrums in terms of radically new products being brought to the marketplace.
To an extent, We have some sympathy with that view point.In a period running from say 1985-2012, just about every month brought with it an exciting new business or personal computing announcement. New and faster processors, dual processors, new forms of magnetic or optical media, smart phones, tablets, the internet, gaming consoles – it was hard to keep pace and it seemed as if it would go on for ever.
However, over the last 3-5 years or so, things have slowed down considerably.
